Brian Boatman wins 6 mile race to the Locks and back.
Location: SOCC Beach:north end of Lake Union next to Dunato's Boat Yard

It turned out to be a beautiful day for the start of the OC1 Winter Series. Big thanks to Wakinikona for hosting. The race was really well organized – good food – thanks Ray for timing, thanks Koko for being our chase boat! If I miss spelled your name please let me know. Also, if you miss registered and need to alter the class you were in based on above age groups, please let me know also. Remember you get to choose your best 5/7 race finishing times to calculate points for the series. You have to complete at least 3 races to qualify for awards. Good Luck!

It was great to have Jericho folks down. They are ready to host the next race and looking forward to having you all up. Please see sailsandpoint.org for directions and race details. If you want to spend Friday night up in Canada – check out the hostel that sits right at Jericho’s location. We’ve stayed there several times and it’s inexpensive and convenient.
