The race course will be held on the Columbia River in the Gorge and is 10.5 miles long looping around full circle to the start. The water poses different conditions based on direction of course, wind, current, and water level via the Bonneville Dam. Seventy-five percent of the course will be visible from the park bank depending on conditions. From the bank’s edge you can see all the way down the river in both directions as the bank slopes down 20 feet to the shore. This poses great viewing for family and friends who come out for the day.
