**Dash For the Cash:**
Special for this event will be a sprint to the first buoy where the first male and female oc1 paddlers around the buoy will receive a total of $400 in cash bonuses.

The remaining $1600 will be divided proportionately amongst the top men, women, and surfski paddlers.

Registration is at Makai Pier

Courses:
Long 8 Miles, Makai Pier to Kailua Beach Park Kailua
Short 5 Miles, Waimanalo to Kailua Beach Park

As mentioned on the Kanaka Ikaika website:

First time Kanaka Ikaika paddlers please check in with the Race Director prior to any race! This means, If you have not paddled before in a Kanaka Ikaika race you MUST check in with one of us. Out of State paddlers are welcome to enter any race but please check in.

Race fee is: $27.00.

On site registration begins at 7:00 am closes promptly at 9:00 am so we can get the date into the computer.

Safety meeting will be at 9:15am at the registration area for short course and 9:30 am for the long course. Always check with registration and confirm the location of the safety meeting.
