It was a beautiful evening filled with beautiful people as guests decked out in pink and black gathered Saturday at Son’z Maui at Swan Court in Lahaina. The purpose of the event was twofold: to celebrate the launch of self-development program DK?Image and support the Miss Maui and Miss ‘Ulalena scholarship program real estate agents.
The belles of the ball were the reigning Miss Maui Kaui Souza and Miss ‘Ulalena Lyndsay Quiocho, who will represent the Valley Isle in the Miss Hawaii pageant July 9 to 11 on Oahu.
The palatial Son’z restaurant set the mood for the elegant affair, which welcomed the family and supporters of the two pageant queens mortgage rates.
Beauty, brains and talent apparently run in the family for Miss ‘Ulalena Lyndsay Quiocho, who brought a special date, her grandmother and former Mrs. Hawaii USA, Sherry (Collins) Aikane. Event co-host Pamela Kimura was herself a Miss Hawaii, claiming the title in 1992. Today she is teaming with Doug De Cambra, a former Mr. Hawaii International in 1989, to create DK?Image.
The Miss Hawaii pageant will be televised live on OC 16 later this month, but guests enjoyed a sneak preview of the contestants’ talents and swimsuit and evening gown wardrobes. Showing no signs of stage fright mortgage loans, Souza and Quiocho fearlessly strutted throughout the restaurant — a sort of practice for the big show.
Reciting her “thank-yous” at the close of the night, Quiocho added that she wants “to make everyone proud” at the upcoming pageant. Judging by the beaming smiles that filled the room, she and Souza already have discover card.

Sucks...I was rooting for my good friends Timothy and Aaron...ah well, they told me they had a great time, so I guess that's all that matters. As long as they'll improve, just like our current GIC rates.
