Picture thread

Hey guys, this may sound stupid, but i kinda wanted to start a picture thread. There are alot of these on like paintball forums and car forums. So this is the thread to just show off that awesome paint job, or that amazing wave you caught off the mokes. Maybe you want to just post pics of the family. its all good. comments and vids welcome as well. Its just a thought, so go crazy.

We may not have the amazing sandy beaches to be found in other parts of the world...but we've got the donuts! Deep Cove Honey's donuts...all flavors make all the hard paddling so worth the while!

Great photo nine feet, how do you get that effect? thats me in the green jacket, rigging the brand new Zephyr, sadly 30 minutes later it would have a big hole punched in it.
And so did your silver one no?
I cant make it to France for the races this year (would love to) I hope that you have a great season and after the 3 amigos great effort this year we will surely see some more froggies at Molo solo 2010.
Who won in Italy?

#82 Sun, 05/17/2009 - 8:58pm

This is "tilt-shift effect" made under Photoshop. Some blur around the subject and high level of colours. You may find many tutorials on the web.
Hope to see you in the next years back in France without any french pirates attack to your vessel during the race... and yes you're right, Ludo couldn't finish the race for the same reason.
The 3 mousquetaires of the solo are now in Italy and I can't find any results...

koacanoe - to post an image you need to do two things:
(1) Get the 'path' of the img location
(2) type in the img src tag code into your comment box

For the img path, you can get the img path by uploading/attaching an image to your post or linking to a image from another site such as flickr or Picasa

For information on what to type for the img tag line, the easiest is to google "img src tag" for more info but you can start here for a simple example of what to type into your comment box...

http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_IMG.asp

You can attach the photo to your "post new comment" form by clicking on the "Browse" button next to the 'attach new file" box.

Once the picture has been 'attached' it will display a path such as "http://www.ocpaddler.com/files/IMG_3799800.jpg"

Next, type in the img src tag and place the picture path into that img tag right after "src="

What camera gear did you use for those great photos?

I shoot with a canon 50d in a SPL waterhousing with a 18-55 lens. In the picture with my canoe on the sandbar you can actually see my older camera tied to the front iako. Its one of those point and shoot cameras.....but its great cause it does video tooo.
