Looking for some paddlers to do DOWNHILL runs from Keokea Beach Park on Sundays or Mondays. I have done it a number of times and I am very familiar with the area. Im just having a hard time finding people to do it with.
Keoua Honaunau Canoe Club invites your participation in the 22nd annual Calvin Kelekolio Long Distance Race on Saturday, August 21, 2010. The course will be to the south, toward Ho’okena. Keoua will host a post race Hawaiian lunch and awards party for all race participants. Paddlers are encouraged to car pool as parking is limited. This race is a Moku O’ Hawaii Canoe Racing Association sanctioned event.
Entry Fee: Junior $60 per crew, Adults $120 per crew, includes Lunch and Awards to top 3 in each division
COURSE: Women and Junior Crews 10 Miles Honaunau – Kauhako Bay - Honaunau
Men and Mixed Crews 12 Miles Honaunau – Kapilo Bay - Honaunau
Race Start Times: Women/Juniors, 8:30 A.M. Men/Mixed, following Women/Junior Race
