USA Canoe and Kayak Team, Waterman Knockout

USA Canoe and Kayak Team, Waterman Knockout

We invite you to attend the First Annual USA Canoe and Kayak Team, Waterman Knockout held in conjunction with the USA Flatwater Canoe and Kayak World Team Trials, April 24-26, 2009. All proceeds will cover travel related expenses for the USA World Canoe and Kayak Team ‘s trip to Europe to compete in the World Cup Tour this summer.

The USA Canoe and Kayak Team, Waterman Knockout will consist of a series of 250 meter elimination Sprints in the following disciplines: OC-1, Surfski, Paddleboard, Stand-Up Paddleboard and Flatwater Canoe and Kayak. Participants will be able to compete in two of the above divisions with each paid entry fee. Awards will be presented to the top three males and females in each division. At the completion of all heats and finals of the Knockout, there will be a 10k Open race for all participants.

In addition to some great action on the water, the festivities will include Vendor Booths, Demonstrations, Raffle and a Fundraising Banquet. See www.usack.org for more information.

Schedule of events:
Friday, April 24th: C-1 and K-1 Preliminary Heats (World Team Trials)***
Saturday, April 25th: C-1 and K-1 Finals (World Team Trials)***
Sunday, April 26th: USA Canoe and Kayak Team, Waterman Knockout***
