Novice looking for paddling buddies - Kailua

Looking for novice paddling buddies in the Kailua area for weekday workouts (after work) or early morning weekend. I have been paddling out of north end Kailua bay (river mouth). I have many years (20+) of ocean experience in freediving/spearfishing, surfing, surfski, etc. and paddled 6 man for 2 seasons, but new to Hawaii and one man and clearly a novice.

Always more fun and safer to paddle with others. Thanks!

Hoe Wa'a Mau Outrigger Canoe Club Race March 21

Due to high surf conditions the race will finish at a buoy outside of "Old Man's" surf spot in front of the Outrigger Canoe Club. Racers can wait for a Lull and paddle in the Kaimana channel, or leave a truck at Magic Island and do a "warm down" to Ala Moana. Safety first; please do what you feel you are personally comfortable with.
