Living Root Dragon Boat seeks athletic men and women for dragon boat racing in 2008! Training is already underway on the Charles River and at our winter indoor pool training facility!

No prior experience necessary. Athleticism, good overall fitness, and/or prior triathlon, swimming, basketball, cycling, marathon, volleyball, rugby, field hockey, lacrosse, football, soccer, running, crew, rowing, sculling, paddling, canoeing, white water rafting, outrigger, kayaking, water polo, or yoga experience a plus.

Paddlers are expected to consistently attend 1-2 practices each week to develop together with the team.

Hi there

we are looking for a paddler/steer'r for Team Paddler for our open womens 500 metre sprints and 16km round the island race. Possible inclusion into mixed crew for the 42km as a paddler only if you meet our needs to be built in around a pedigreed crew. Must have good team spirit and be agressive and tactical person on the water then a party animal only at after party. :)

Australias a long way to come without guts and glory- if youve got the guts we hopefully will have the podium glory!!

Can help sort accomodation, uniform supplied, just bring you , blade and be ready for a great time!

Will be in Sarasota in early April. Was hoping to find someone who knew of a place I might even rent an OC1 to paddle. Seems unlikely but I didnt want to just ask if someone knew of one I might use/if they were up for a paddling session.
