Well, paddling (canoing) in Florida (everglades) is pretty tame... except for the gators, the former pet pythons and other nasty local lifeforms... many of which have been fed by humans and are NOT bashful about demanding handouts...

I'll be traveling to Tahiti July 5 - July 25 in hopes of a little immersion in the community, through paddling and volunteering. I am 31 years old and have been paddling and racing 22 years in all paddling disciplines from sprint kayak, outrigger, surf ski, marathon etc. I live in Bondi Beach, Australia and am a member of North Bondi Surf Lifesaving Club, and Washington Canoe Club in Washington, D.C.. I speak french well and hope to blend right in! With any luck I'll find a place to crash and contibute lots through volunteering whilst I'm there.
Please reach out to me with any suggestions for teams that may welcome an guest paddler, an event or festival that may need a volunteer, lodging near the water, etc.

For competitive paddling youth team in WA, desire OC's for cross training. 1,2,3,4,or 6 man boats. Surf-skis also considered. Our budget is nothing, so we will consider boats in any condition. Thanks for reading request.
