might not be such a good idea to have it on that weekend since pa'a has the halloween race on the same day. participants for your race will most likely be minimal. too bad since it's for a good cause. hope you can change it to another day.

Not sure how to explain this, but the permits never materialized. So the race is once again postponed.

Just wanted to verify - so, the race for this weekend (29 OCT) has been cancelled? If so, what's up with us not being able to get a permit for a canoe race to honor the Wounded Warriors?
