RIO VA’A 2006 - 6th edition - Second SOUTH AMERICAN VA’A CUP
South American venue of the World Va’a long distance circuit.
Location: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Races: The CUP format follows the IVF guidelines for continental competitions.
6 to 8 paddler teams compete in 4 events:
- short distance races: V1 2000m, V2 2000m;
- V1R/ V1 Long distance (10 km) open to any type of one person canoes;
- V6 iron long distance (28 km) along Rio de Janeiro’s famous beaches: Copacabana, Arpoador, Ipanema, Leblon and around Suggar Loaf and into Guanabara Bay.
