Koloa Plantation Days Paddle Fest Results

Hosted by Kukui'ula Outrigger, Kauai Hoe Wa'a & Puuwai Canoe Club
Paddle board, SUP, OC-1, OC-2, surf ski, OC-6 races
Short course for paddleboard and SUP only, 2.5 miles, Poipu Beach Park to Kukui'ula Harbor
Long course for expert paddle boarders and SUP, surf ski and all outrigger canoes, 12 miles, Kalapkai Beach to Poipu Beach Park
Epic conditions made for a fast long course (if you didn't huli or break an iako)! Wes DaSliva came in first overall on his surf ski, followed by Mark Frazier on OC-1, Brian and Beth Carter led the OC-2 division, while Kalani Vierra crossed the finish line first on his stock SUP followed by Chris Pico on an open SUP. Josh Comstock finished 1st in the prone paddle board division and had so much fun he kept on flying down the south shore to catch more waves! In the OC-6 division, the Niumalu men just edged out host club Kukui'uula Outrigger for the finish, despite the KO crew paddling through tough surf with a loose ama!
