There are two 22 foot sonotubes with 20" inside diameter sitting in California and available for shipping back to Hawai'i (so that we can reuse them). Sonotubes are an easy and cheap way to ship canoes, so if anyone out there needs to ship anything to Hawai'i, let me know so i can get you in touch with one of the tubes.
Was looking for the video of some guys doing a down wind run from Malibu to mothers beach. cant find it on the archive's or a search
can someone help out. We just did the race last Sat. and it was far from a down wind run. More like a flat dessert crossing. I think the subject read, "Meet my friend Mother's"
I used to paddle V1 in Tahiti and really miss it due to their lack of availability here. Does anyone have an itch to sell theirs or know where I can find one? If so, please let me know as I look forward to having a very, very steep learning curve (also known as a lot of time climbing back into the va'a) again! Thanks!
Two surf skis for sale. They have outrigger attachments. Excellent shape, 21 feet long, carbon fiber, (35 lbs), adjustable foot controls and good seat padding. I use them as outrigger canoes. I am not sure who they were made by but one has a Futura sticker. Extremely stable and good in the surf and bay. I am looking for $1700 each or $3000 for both. They ar ein San Diego in Mission Beach. Danny Ching And Steve Sinkus are the current record holders with a time of 4:55 minuutes, They are back to defend their title and hopes for a record 3 in a row, Jeanne Barrett is back defending her winning streak with a substitute partner Shein-lu Stokesbury , Jeanne has five consecutive wins with partner Jill Schooler who is taking a year off to have a baby. They set the record of 5:42:22. back in 2005.

I was just wondering if going around that little "island" just west of naples has any nice scenery or if it is just industrial oil drilling stuff. Also, any idea how far it would be from mothers beach around the island and back? Time or distance. Thank you
