Weather let us down for the first time all season. Even setting the buoys was tricky. Our water official Mary Keilty had to do a rescue of a visitor while setting the finish buoy. Those nasty on-shore winds and head current made for tough slugging. Fortunately, Steinlager helped us nurse our wounds as we “re-hydrated†after the race.
