I will be on Oahu Saturday April 10, for anyone interested in trying the Wainui canoe, or just talk story. I will be at Kaimana beach between 9:30 am and 2 pm. This will be on a first come first serve basis. Check our website www.kiakahacanoesandpaddles.com for general info and contact info. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
Some lovely folks from the Land Down Under are looking for a friendly local to be their escort/support boat for the Molokai surf ski race on the 16th of May - Racing from Molokai to Oahu. Space for one passenger/tag along required on the boat as well.
We guarantee that we will be a barrel of fun and laughter and we promise not to bring our pet Skippy along for the ride - he can't swim! haha
Found @ 1:30 pm, Saturday, March 20
Someone left two iakos (gold/aluminum with button locks) on the grass on the makai side of the parking lot at Magic Island. Call 343-7849...
Found a steering blade 3/18/10 around 2:30 p.m. It was leaning on a tree by the canal near the Kailua canoe hale. There was nobody around and boats were dry so I figured someone forgot it. I didn't want the creepers in the park to get there hands on it. Please call me to pick it up, or call me if you know who it belongs to: Art 382-2059. To be fair to the rightful owner please tell me what kind/ size/ stickers are on paddle.
hey im going to maui from the 18th-22nd and I want to still train while im there. Are there any clubs that will let me do a recreational paddle with them or somthing like that.
