Held for the 13th year at Keauhou Bay, this long distance race was the vision of Auntie Mary Jane Kahanamoku to fill the puka in the regatta season caused by High School graduations. Three years ago, the format for the event was changed to all mixed (coed) crews consisting of 3 women and 3 men in each canoe.
