Kanaka Ikaika Presents the Hinano - Haleiwa Joe’s Coastal Relay

• Registration will be in the Aikahi Park Shopping Center at the Drop in Cafe from 6:30 A.M. - 8:30A.M.
• Drop in Cafe will giving paddlers a 10% Discount.

3 Categories:
1. The original 2 person tag team division.
2. The cruiser 4 person division.
3. The Short, solo course division from Hawaii Kai - Magic Island.

Course:
Leg 1. Start is outside of Pinkys Canal at the north end of Kailua Bay to Lanikai
Sandbags via Mokolea Rock (Bird Shit) and the Mokulua Islands.
Leg 2. Sandbags to Makai Pier via the Mokulua Islands, finishing on the Makapu’u side of pier.
No paddling under the pier.
Leg 3. Makai Pier to Hawaii Kai Bath house.
Leg 4. Hawaii Kai to Magic Island for the finish. Around blinker buoy outside Hawaii Kai, and around the small red ketchup buoy outside Magic Island.

• Relay Race start: 8:30 for the Women
  9:00 A.M. for the Men.
  *Short - Solo Hawaii Kai: 10:30 A.M.
• Food for participants catered by Haleiwa Joe's Seafood Grill.
• First 150 paddlers to register will get a free Hinano Paddle Cover!
• Awards will be at Magic Island following the last finisher.
• Cut off times will be enforced for the legs:
  Sandbags - 10:15 A.M.
  Makai Pier - 11:45 A.M.
  Hawaii Kai - 1:00 P.M.
• You will be timed at all 3 legs.

Course: Long Course – Makai Pier to Hawai’i Kai bath house – 8 miles
Short Course – Maunalua Bay Triangle (Start @ Marshall’s Beach, out towards Portlock Point, down towards Paiko’s, end @ Hawai’i Kai bath house) – 5 miles

Registration: 7:00-8:30 am @ Hawai’i Kai bathhouse
Start Time: 10:00 am for both courses
Race entrance fee: $27 adult & $15 junior paddler –lunch & visor included
*Silent auction will run from 7:00 am to 1 pm!!
