Start/ finish at Kailua Beach Park. course, weather and variables pending:

Long: Beach start, right turn at Flat, outside Mokunui, split both Mokulua Islands, counter clockwise back out around Mokuiki (one hump). Out around a buoy and down to Pinky's. Round a buoy fronting Pinky's and back to Kailua Beach Park.

Short course: beach start, right turn at Flat, outside Mokunui, split both Mokulua Islands, counter clockwise back out around Mokuiki (one hump). Out around a buoy and down around Flat Island. Finish Kailua Beach Park.

Bob's Pizza will be served for lunch.

Proposed rules to limit commercial activity in Kailua Bay

The Kailua Neighborhood Board is discussing ways to limit commercial ventures at Kailua Beach Park due to traffic and congestion complaints:
BOARD MOTIONS
Motion 1: Oral report and motion by Kailua Beach Park Permitted Interaction Group (P.I.G): The KNB No. 31 requests the City to solicit a single?vendor concession contract for Kailua Beach Park in accordance with the following provisions:
1. One exclusive, single?concession contract by competitive best value bid limited to all listed commercial activities.

xylo 49" for sale - Manoa

I have a 49" xylo blade for sale. I bought it September 2010 and used it for one season. I had island paddler cut it down about half an inch but it still feels like a 49 and standing next to other 49s looks the same.

Kialoa 52 1/2" Hybrid JUST REFINISHED!

Item Description: 

Im selling my Kialoa 52 1/2 inch Hybrid Paddle. Its been used for about 2 seasons and I just recently had the Entire Handle Refinished So its basicly In Perfect condition.

The Blade itself has Very superficial Scratches just from basic Use, Structurally the paddle is in top shape and has No Flaws to it. It was just Refinished and the guy did an amazing job.

Im getting rid of it cause its too long for me, and i Have another paddle which works better So i Never use this one.

Im asking $150.00 For this and its well worth it, your basicly getting a brand new paddle here, The back of the blade has a nice Sticker Saying "hawaii" with a palm tree cut into it, Its super cool and Unique.
