This is Shane, one of the Women's Long Distance coaches for Lanikai Canoe Club.

If anyone is looking for some in shape, ready to go paddlers for Na Wahine, please let me know.

We had to cut several ladies, ages and skill levels vary, but are all great paddlers who just couldn't make the final cut for crew.

Hoping to find a crew for a few of them if anyone is still looking for a local paddler to fill a gap.

I have a Bradley Lighting on Molokai that is available for a women's Crew to bring back to Oahu for the Na Wahine O Ke Kai 2011 race. A donation of $200 will be appreciated. The Canoe need to go back to Sand Island Beach Park. The canvas is included on the boat.

I am looking for a way to track the hull speed on my OC2. I know some paddlers use a sports watch/Garmin but what about something thats in the water for instant read-outs?

I know of one escort boat that got a warning at the Dad Center race for violating the No Wake Zone from DLNR. Does anyone have insight on how this is going to affect making paddler changes in E Lau Hoe, Henry Race, and the 2 Molokai races along this area?

has anyone noticed the 'party boat' off the shereton? it is the old Kandoo, now renamed the Red Dolphin. if i remember the old Kandoo sparked a lot of controversy. seems now that it has been renamed and sold to another person,, no one has said a word.there was an article in mondays paper about it. folks..it is right off the shereton. a 158 foot eye sore. at least the Kandoo was farther off shore.i heard DLNR gave them a permit. im interested in your opinion
