I counted 22 women on Manny's emailed participant list for this year.
Since I have been doing the race the field has been much smaller:

2011 - 12
2010 - 10
2009 - 13

Anybody who has been doing this longer than me know if this is the largest field of women ever entered in the Solo?

Does anybody know what the current rates are for renting a canoe (oc1/ski) for the Molokai solo and also what to expect for the Maui to Molokai (Pailolo channel race)? Shipping cost not included.
