I'm looking for a spot for a Spec Surfski in the Marina del Rey mothers' beach racks. I am on the wait list with the County, but was hoping someone would let me bunk up with them while I wait. I will gladly pay a portion of the annual fee. Contact me with your price. I am SURE we can work it out.
Thanks,
Nick

I'm in California and am looking for a sock for my canoe (PUEO) so I can store it out doors. Just looking to block the sun, nothin else. Anyone selling one? PM me if you have a link on where to buy them new as well. Shipping could be possible as I imagine you could cram it in a flat rate box maybe...
I recall a post concerning San Diego runs. I have not been on the coast in over 30 years but still born and raised there. Did a lot of surfing in Baja in the 60's. I remember lots of days of great winds off of Norhern Baja in the summer. We had to surf inside 38 1/2 to get a place that was not blown out. Is anyone back in Cali taking advantage of that? Seems like a run from 38 1/2 to La Fonda would be epic. Plus once at La Fonda....really good marguritas and longosta to top it off. Maybe you guys shoud think about a race down there. Sort of like the tecate to ensenada cycle race.

I'm heading down to San Diego for a long July 4th weekend and was thinking of bringing my OC1 with me. Where do the locals paddle at? Are there any particular routes you all take? I'm on my own so I was thinking just an out-and-back kind of route as opposed to point-to-point. What are the conditions like this time of year? Can you just launch from the beach?
I have an older Kaiwi Challenger for sale. It is in decent shape. It does have one 8 inch crack in the main hull near the seat area that has been successfully sealed for years with clear tape. I live in the "real" northern Calif, near Eureka.
