We want to buy / rent oc2 / oc3 / oc4 for a So Cal surf camp... If any one is interested in selling / renting please send me a private message with photos to d-portillo@hotmail.com.
Patching up a beat up OC1 and I'm almost finished with the prep work before painting (fairing and sanding). In the mean time, I've started working on the hardware. Here are my questions:
Where is the best place to get cables? tried Lowes...HD, but not the same guage.
Rudder was bent...anyone have better idea then sticking it in a vice and applying steady pressure
Pretty white with purple trim. This boat is about eight years old, and has about 2,000 miles on it. There is some wear around the cockpit, but she is a reliable watertight pleasure to paddle. Selling for $1,400. Located in Santa Barbara.
Think Evo Surf Ski. 20'6" x 19", vacuum bagged glass/foam core. This is a pre production 2011 model that was used as a demo at the US championships last August. Couple of small dings (detailed photos available). Retail price is $2,400. Sell for $1,400.
I thought I wanted a one-man canoe and have spent hours researching this forum. But right now I am totally spooked by how fragile they are! I want something comfortable and lightweight, but it's the way they're constructed to make them weigh less that seems to make them so delicate. I'm also worried about buying used as opposed to new. I'd like to not spend a lot to start out, but older equipment could have problems sooner.
