Maui Jim Molokai Challenge has increased the OC-1 purse to make the 2016 prize money equal to the surfskis. $2,000.00 for first place in both Surfski solo and OC-1 solo across the line. The new breakdown is as follows:

Perhaps someone on the forum can provide some input here. I have always understood that seats 3, 4 and 5 are supposed to 'back off' during a turn and essentially be ready to come alive on the 'out'. My question is this - at what point do they back off? The uni? The kahi? Both?

If you’ve ever wanted to not only see the Na Pali Coast, but paddle it, then this is the clinic as it is normally the only time you can safely paddle it. This will be an OC6 clinic suitable for all level of paddler. The clinic is scheduled so that you can optionally race the Na Pali Challenge (not included in the clinic cost) on Saturday August 13th which is a change race consisting of a team of 6 men and 6 women alternating shifts.

Did anyone pick up a pair of iakos near the canoe halau in Hawaii Kia? I left a pair there in the grass around 2:45 on Sunday, April 3rd.
