LOST PHONE AT MOKULUA ISLANDS, KAILUA! Lost Droid X in a "DryCase" bag.

I normally take a phone out on the water just incase something happens, for safety. It was in a clear waterproof "DryCase" bag and my BLACK Droid X is in it. I was planning on going surf skiing but bumped into friends who asked if I wanted to go canoe paddling. So I took my phone with me into the canoe and while we were in between the Mokulua islands, a huge wave built and broke right on the back of our canoe and it huli (flipped) over and got washed away with my phone.

New and want an OC1 mentor-San Diego

Hi there-
I'm saving up for my first OC1 and would like to know if there are any guys or gals out there with a couple of OC1 canoes that would be willing to meet up and teach me the ropes and let me use a boat until I get mine. I'm in shape, have plenty of ocean experience and learn fast, so I could be in shape as a paddle buddy fairly quickly. I'm in San Diego, Pacific Beach area.

Thiefs among us

Aloha All!Please take a look around yourself, and see if someone,s got a brand new rudder off a new Pegasus.Stolen off OC 1 youth program canoe at lanikai park thursday night till friday lunch. If you hear of anyone that magically replaced there rudder let me know. What goes around comes around,if you know this person my suggestion is dont paddle to close to him(big time bache might go down on them.Return it and the spirits of the sea will bless you(I think)This is for the kids and donors worked hard to donate the money for these boats.(It was tough getting it out of them)

UPDATE Kanaka Ikaika Race #4

The question of the day is.... what is the course tomorrow? The answer is, let's wait to see what the wind is really doing tomorrow.
BUT, if we had to make a call based on WindGuru's forecast (1-2 mph from the northeast), I would say the course stands as posted:
Start:
Long course - Hawaii Kai.
Short course - Kaimana
Both courses to go around Diamond Head Buoy.
Finish at HCKT.
Lunch, awards, etc...: Da Kitchen Restaurant, 925 Isenberg St.

If the wind goes westerly, then we flip it around and start from Magic Isle. for the long and stay at Kaimana for the short.

Kanaka Ikaika Race #4: Start & Finish Questions

Does short course start at Kaimana still? and is the finish at HCKT boat halau too? i checked the website and didn't see an update yet.
