Here are some updates for the 2005 Queen Liliuokalani Canoe Races.

Aloha,
the OUTRIGGER-47-CHALLENGE in Germany what was held during the 12.-13.August at our sandy beach in Bremerhaven And it was a very succesfull Event, Teams and Paddlers from Nz, Australia, Hawaii, Florida, Italy, Teneriffe, UK, Sweden, Tchechia, Netherland and Germany did the races between the big old sailships on the North-Sea in front of Bremerhaven.

Keauhou Canoe Club hosted the 24th Annual A.J. McDanold Long Distance race yesterday. Crews from clubs from every corner of the island congregated in Keauhou Bay to participate.

Dana Point, CA -- Saturday, August 6 marked the 8th stop of the Southern California Outrigger Racing Association's summer tour. Dana Outrigger hosted the first 9-man race of the season, featuring an 18-mile course that hugged the coast traveling north from Doheny State Beach.

Why did we run an OC-1? Maliko race the day after states? Easy, so that all our visiting friends who came to Maui for the States and whom may never make it over during the OC-1 season would get a chance to experience our downwind run. Was it worth it? You bet ya!
