Escort Boat Needed for Rock 2 Rock - June 19, 2011

Hi, I'm looking for an escort boat for the Rock 2 Rock paddle race on June 19th. The race is from the north side of Isthmus pier on Catalina to Cabrillo Beach. I would like to launch from Marina Del Rey or San Pedro harbor on the 18th and spend the night on the boat. The race starts at 6:30am on the 19th.

There isn't much info online yet but the race is listed at: http://www.eatonsurf.com/Events.htm

San Diego Outrigger Info Session SUNDAY

SDOCC is throwing a beginning of the season info sesh/novice orientation this Sunday the 6th of March at 10:30AM till 1:30PM. New and want an OC1 mentor-San Diego

Hi there-
I'm saving up for my first OC1 and would like to know if there are any guys or gals out there with a couple of OC1 canoes that would be willing to meet up and teach me the ropes and let me use a boat until I get mine. I'm in shape, have plenty of ocean experience and learn fast, so I could be in shape as a paddle buddy fairly quickly. I'm in San Diego, Pacific Beach area.

Adjustable Seat Mechanism (This could be shipped from anywhere)

Item Description:

We run OC2 time trials and wanted to make atleast the rear seat adjustable with a slide of some sorts as we have seen on other newer models of OCs. its an older kaiwi challenger all fiberglass, the deck where the seats are is just a flat deck currently using velcro, so i don't think the rope style slides will work since those are usually built in. But the hurricanes have the track/ratchet style adjuster i think we could mount on the top deck with regular hardware. Have a used or new one? Shoot me an e-mail
