Coming back from the Na Pali Challenge i flew Hawaiian Airlines and had checked my paddle as they don't allow them as carry ons. Before giving the paddle to the baggage workers, they had put two "fragile - handle with care" stickers on the blade.

A couple of weeks ago I had the privilege to participate in the Inaugural Anacapa Classic Canoe Race of a newly formed club in Oxnard Ca. Out of Channel Islands Harbor 11 miles to the island of Anacapa, 4 miles along side of it and 14 miles back. 12 man/woman race format with escort boat.
30 minute changes 6 men start the race, after 30 minutes 6 women change in. Officials monitor and flag a 5 minute window when changes are allowed. A lot of back and forth and plenty of strategy along the way, especially the race to the last change buoy before the finish inside the harbor

Did it matter which side of the windsock the canoe passed in front of OCC yesterday?

Does anyone have info in regards to the Big Boy Challenge Ironman race this year? Is it scheduled to happen? I know in years' past it has been on the day before the women's E Lau Hoe.

I left a paddle outside of Kailua's halau at 6am this morning (before the Dad Center Race) and came back at 7:45am to find it missing..... If anyone accidentally took it, could I please have it back? It's a 51" double bend Kia Kaha with a black fade to clear blade.

Looking for lodging for 2 crews for Na Wahine race. Any suggestions?
