Anybody got Results for the Kailua Bay Ironman Challenge?

I left my paddle after the race today. It is a 50" wood Xylo with tuff stuff around the edge. I am from Molokai..if anyone picked it up please let me know!! Mahalo

Speaking of using proper names, what's he proper spelling for boathouse? Is it Hale?

Spoke with the DLNR/Marine Unit Enforcement and during the Duke Kahanamoku Race many escort boats and canoes got too close to divers off of Portlock and Waikiki. Some divers off of Portlock were instructed to dry dock themselves to avoid getting runned over and the Marine Unit's vessel had to post themselves in front of the divers. These are areas where there's a lot of recreational and vendor type divers, especially if its calm to moderate conditions.

A while back the rudder cable on my OC-1 broke, and partly because I was too lazy to fix it (well, mostly because I was too lazy) and partly because I thought it would be good for me to paddle rudderless, I just took off the rudder and kept paddling.

Anyone know of any paddling clubs or anywhere I can rent an OC1 on the North Island? I'll be down there from Dec 17-31 and would love to paddle once or twice.

I'm gonna be traveling to Guam for a week (from Hawaii) and was hoping I could jump in a 6 man or one man for a couple workouts while I'm down there. I'm staying over in Tumon Bay. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I recently bought a new OC1. I have been racing Marathon canoe races on the mainland for the past five years. I am competitive where I race but am new to OC paddling. Does anyone have any suggestions on a upcoming race that I could try? My canoe is in Hawaii. Also any training advice or tips would be appreciated.
