Noticed watching guys at the halau taking their canoes to the water. Last year and the year before they were pueos. Now all I see are Ehukais. My friend ordered the new pueo and said the cost was $5200. The quotes for the china mades are far less. God bless you guys at Kamanu...you are witnessing what happens when you go against an industry that has lower labor costs ., lower rents and cheaper materials. I pray that you prosper.

Has anyone found or developed and easy system for holding a hydration bladder (in this case a 100 oz camelback) under an OC6 seat for long distance iron racing? Besides using a whole bunch of duct tape which tends to get sticky in the hot sun and sticks to your shorts.

So, quickly discovering that having an OC1 now is a bit problematic with a little Subbie Impreza. Sure it works, paid for, etc, but it's lacking roof line (working on a custom cradle), but w the ama inside, makes it tight for any extra people.

Several of my friends have Elements, but I'm curious to know what other rigs people have here for carrying their canoes and gear and friends and beers and such......
