This is one of the most inspirational videos I've ever seen. I am often asked why I spend so much time on the water, this film is a really great answer.

Anyone know of a good website or book with some solid sprint/pyramid interval drills? The winter has taken its toll and I need to get my endurance back.

I was just concerned with why these races in Oahu are being cancelled. Is this due solely to paperwork issues i.e permits and such? Or is this a new trend of the bureaucracy running things over there, and are any other islands being affected in this manner? If so, do we need to mobilize the paddling community to try to stop this from spreading across the State or is this just another example of how government, no matter what the people think or say, will continue to ignore the will of the taxpayers.

just curious to see if anybody has heard about the race this sunday, feb 28? according to the KIRA website, the race on march 13 has already been cancelled. because the race end is the same for both races (the infamous magic island!), does that mean this sunday's race is also cancelled?
