Anybody got a GoPro Hero digital video camera (oc-1 mountable) you might consider renting out for a weekend?
If so, how much?

Regatta

Ok so I know this subject was brought up awhile ago but now that the season is almost over, what are peoples thoughts on Regatta. Is it held at the right time of the year, is it to long, are we racing the right distances in them, should we have other races running at the same time. Are Regattas optimal training for distance season.

Nappy & Konedobu Kanu Klab @ Hamo 2009 - Video

It was a pleasure to have Hawaiian legend Nappy Napoleon steer our crew from Papua New Guinea - Konedobu Kanu Klab at the 2009 Hamilton Cup. How many people can say they took this line along the bottom of Dent Island and got away with? He truly deserves the title "Channel Master" after 52 Molokai Hoe Crossings. Thank you Nappy, Anona and grandson Rigg, we enjoyed your company. Also thank you to Brendon and the Boys of the KKK , i think we all learnt something eh.

Video is here ...

Screening Shirts

Since the distance season is coming up... I was wondering if anyone knew of people who could screen on either the patagonia tees or the xcel jerseys here on oahu?

Koa Canoes for States

Small clubs with only a few qualified crews for the State Regatta Championship in Hilo have found it cost-prohibitive to ship a koa canoe. Several of these clubs have contacted me in search of a koa to borrow. I am willing to try to assist anyone with this need or will try to refer you to a club or clubs that may also be able to help. PM me if I can be of assistance.

garmin 310xt

I've had the Garmin 310XT for a few weeks now, it's great that it is much lighter and fits on my smaller wrist better than the 305 I had (which died from water intrusion, I opened i tup and it was all corroded inside) HOWEVER, my unit just started having trouble charging, when I connect it to the charger it charges for five seconds, turns itself off, turns itself on again, charges for five seconds, etc etc.

I made sure everything is dry, cleaned off the contacts, they don't look discolored or affected in any way (which was a problem with my 305, I had to keep cleaning off the contacts with a pencil eraser to get the thing to charge) so anybody have any suggestions, or anyone else have this problem? The Garmin site doesn't have any advice on it yet regarding this.
