In another thread, Mulus commented "I took one for a test run and loved it. my wife said I could not own moor canoes than the days in the month so Ill have to sell one.its gonna take me a while to decide witch one."

Now in another thread I share that my wife will not allow me to have more boats than days of the week so I actually had to sell a boat to buy my OC-1. (At that time I did not know that the Egyptians at one time had a 9 day week.)

Now there is some discussion as to whether a outrigger counts as one boat or two. So Egyptian citizenship may not work. Two hulls per OC, see?

Why are women so unreasonable?

It makes me think of that Statler Brothers' song.

I ask you, because you are all reasonable folks. How many boats are reasonable for one man to have?

My wife is Canadian, you'd think she'd understand this canoe thing. Maybe that's the problem. She does.

Hey, those of us here in Philly want to thank our Hawaiian Ohana for the loan of Shane Victorino. With his help, the Phillies have become the WORLD CHAMPS!! Man, I'd love to get him out to paddle canoe!!

Does anyone out there know of a good resource for locating coaches? I am with a small new club on Oahu and we are looking to increase our coaching staff - we were unable to find any additional coaches last season. . . As we are now preparing for the upcoming season the search is on again - any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The races is open to OC1, OC2, OC6, surf ski, and ALL paddle boards lie down and stand up

7:15 Registration will start near the boat ramp at Hawaii Kai

8:30 Safety brief

8:45 Paddle board start

9:00 OC1+OC2+Surf ski start

9:15 OC6 start

The race course for OC1, OC2, OC6, and surf ski:

Start on the beach at Port lock

Outside the day marker

Outside Diamond Head buoy

Finish Magic Island between 5+6 Day markers

The race course for paddle boards:

Start on the beach at port lock

Out side Diamond Head buoy?

Finish at the beach at Kaimana

The divisions for all categories are:

Men, Women, Mix, and Ohana

Lunch is at picnic site 3 at Ala Moana Park
