Allstate Oahu Championship course notice

Due to high surf advisory, the course for this Sunday's Allstate Oahu Championship will start and finish in Haleiwa Harbor vs. starting at Sunset beach. The route will take us out the boat channel, around the far marker in the blue water and up towards Waimea and back. We'll be in the deep blue outside of the surf line, as long as you stay on the designated course you won't have a problem with the surf. Visit the Kanaka Ikaika facebook page for an updated map.

Kona Brewing-Maui Jim Waterman Challenge IS for everyone

Make note that just because next weekends Kona Brewing Co.-Maui Jim Waterman Challenge has a swim race, a surfski race, an SUP race, an OC-1 race and a prone paddleboard race, it DOESN'T MEAN YOU HAVE TO RACE THEM ALL. You can choose your event and just race one event. Or you can decide how many you want to race. If you want to try something out, this is the race to do it. If you are good at multiple disciplines, then go for the points. If nothing else, take your one race and then join a team for the "medly" relay at the end. If you ever wondered if you can, this is an opportunity.
