Any one try using a speed polish on their Outrigger Canoe? Did it seem to do anything? Was it worth it?

The products I am reffering to seem to be available at Yatching stores, the claim to reduce the water resistance on your hull.

My name is Morgan House. I am on the National Team for Sprint Kayaking.

I am new to this forum but I wanted to let everyone know about a newsletter my fiancé, Emily Vinson, and I started called The Paddler's Perspective. Is anyone, by chance, driving through White Plains into New York City on this Friday afternoon? I'm looking to get two canoes and two people (myself and Alan Goto) from Mamaroneck to New York Outrigger by 6:00pm on Friday. If there is anyone who is driving by, we would gladly pay for the ride. Novice paddler looking to paddle in Jersey from June-July. OR rent/borrow one man if possible. Any suggestions?
