The Holopuni is sold... thanks for your interest
Aloha all,
Seattle Outrigger Canoe Club has decided to sell their Holopuni OC-3 paddling canoe. She is 3 years old white hull, light blue deck and she is in top condition. She comes with cockpit rings (spray skirts can be fastened) and a mount for a small outboard engine and quick release straps for tie-downs. We paid over $6000 new and are asking $4500. You are welcome to try her out. We have her rigged at our Waterway 18 beach access on Lake Union. If interested please email me at nwfishhead@yahoo.com

Texas Outrigger Canoe Club

Founded in 1987 at Surfside Beach, Texas Outrigger is the first of its kind on the western Gulf Coast. Our club is committed to fostering the Hawaiian Aloha spirit inherent in outrigger paddling which is experiencing rapid growth across the globe. Compared to Hawaii and the West Coast, we are relatively new, and welcoming all paddlers wanting to explore this unique team sport, for racing, recreational, and junior levels.

We are committed to fostering the Hawaiian Aloha spirit inherent in outrigger paddling that is experiencing rapid growth across the globe. The racing teams travel to some of the more popular and scenic race venues in the Northern Hemisphere, and practice four times weekly to ensure maximum preparedness for honorable placement. We also encourage recreational involvement through fitness training and general enjoyment of this heritage water sport. Our usual paddling venue is Clear Lake thru Kemah Channel to Galveston Bay.

If you are visiting, call us and come out! We practice year-round with a couple of weeks or so that are too cold to go out. We hold races with our sister clubs in Dallas and Houston ( http://www.tocc.org and http://www.hdocc.com ). We also have many OC-1's among our members and a 4th old canoe, unrestored....

This year is the 3rd annual Hoewa'a Dallas Outrigger Canoe Club's "Sprint Showdown"; with teams from Dallas, Houston and Austin going head to head in some very competetive, but fun competition. The event is free and families are encouraged to come out and picnic with us, in what promises to be a terrific day of racing.

Located in Austin, Texas this is an up and coming canoe club that is doing great things.
The club currently owns 3 canoes and has enough members to fill them all. We are currently looking for new members and welcome anyone that is interested in paddling with us to come on out. The club has participated in races in Dallas, Houston, Miami and we are on our way to California this year also!
