Hi fellow paddlers, I moved to Wyoming from Hawaii 3 years ago....and I REALLY miss my OC-1.
I know lake paddling is definitely possible....but can anyone tell me the best way to go about actually getting one here.

The logistics are really the only thing stopping me - if anyone can share their story of getting it shipped to them - how they packed it, who they used, that would be great!

Hello, I am new to the forum and would like some input on this question. I race flatwater canoes and surfskis presently and want to get into OC1 paddling. What is the fastest flatwater OC1. for conditions of 2 foot wind chop and below.

The Santa Fe Surf Club in New Mexico has a 6-man malia canoe that needs some TLC. In particular, the wooden gunnels need re-glassed. They have been sanded down to bear wood and we are poised to buy a product to apply. Problem is, none of us has much experience in fiberglass work! One of our team members suggested we look for an epoxy product that has the glass fibers suspended in it. Any advice out there for some land-locked, desperate and displaced outrigger canoe paddlers?

I have an older Hurricane OC1. One of my steering cords separated from the rudder cam and is now somewhere inside my hull. Anyone have any advice on how to recover this cord? I have a new steering cord/cam kit but cannot use the old cord to pull the new line through the hull. There is no inspection hatch or any openings into the hull.
