Can anyone tell me more about this kayak. I bought it from a co-worker several years back. Its great for diving, fishing and crusing. Would like to know more about it if anyone has info.. Has a sticker on it that say karel's fiberglass. Im in jacksonville, fl.

I`m a Canadian from Vancouver, BC Canada currently living in Kochi, Shikoku. I am considering moving to a small town called Kanonji in Kagawa Prefecture, Shikoku. Does anyone have experience paddling OC-1/OC-6 in the Inland Sea between Honshu and Shikoku, Japan? I hear this is a very beautiful area.

I want to live somewhere that offers great local paddling. Which place is better for Outrigger Canoeing -- the South coast of Shikoku OR the Inland Sea? Is paddling safe and allowed in the Inland Sea considering I believe it is used as a main shipping route with lots of ship traffic.

Suggestions for a new OC2 owner! Please help a newbie out :)

I just got an oc2, but honestly dont know much about the logistics of owning a canoe. Im hoping for some advice on:
1. where to take the canoe out and how to enter the water in the suggested locations
2. differences btwn this and an oc6...ive paddled before, but never in a smaller boat. what should I know about how the boat moves in comparison? steering? how it moves in the water?
3. suggestions on racks...are generics ok? should I tie down the front and back?
4. how to clean the canoe afterwards? should I get a cover?
