Anyone want to come paddle and do a run from inside the Ala wai by Hui Lankila to the buoy or windsock and back. Monday to Friday at about 3:30. It would be fun.
Hi , I'm working in St. John USVI and can't find any action for OC. Does anyone
know anyone down here with a boat I can get a seat on, or an OC1 to buy or rent
for the winter...I'm dehydrating and need to get on the water. Thanks.
Check out Kai and a host of other paddlers racing SUP Downwind at the National OC1 Titles yesterday. Be sure to watch Kai and Riggs Napoleon having a special moment at 3:45 into the video.
Saturday morning comes too soon. Cotton mouth and headache as I wake up after an office holiday party followed by the Friday night sailing race (more beer). Here we go... time to start getting used to waking up earlier than we want to on the weekends so that we can race. Luckily we had already loaded our boats so we could just head straight over the hill. Gorgeous day. Sign in... talk story.. finish my cup of coffee... then carry my boat across the street to the beach. There is a small group of women gathered waiting for the race to start.
Aloha.....
I hear there are two OC1 Molokai crossing championships? Could someone please explain the difference between the two ? Is there a state and then an International version? Thank you.
: how do effects of living in different parts of the planet and the foods that are commonly eaten by the average paddler effect speed. obviously it would be a good idea to have a healthy diet but I have watched movies like Food Inc. and Super size me, and have realized the average North American diet is not as healthy as other parts of the planet. today's youth are the first not expected to out live there parent . due to diet and lifestyle. it has to affect speed , but how much?
It's summer in Western Australia because every afternoon the sea breeze blows in at 20knots. It's called "The Doctor". Here is a short movie I put together of a downhill session I did with a mate this week, he was on a ski. Have a look and let me know what you think.
You always feel better after a visit to The Doctor!
