Truck rack?

Need some new racks. I forgot the name of the company that makes those minimalist alu. tube rear truck racks--the ones with the back-bend and the radiuses' at the corners? Name and contact?

Are they solid and not shaky and noisy at speed? Any comments compared to Thules?

Who's going to Vaka Eiva this year??

.. apart from Uncle Nap ( i'm sure he lives there)

Three cameramen this filming year , a bunch of special shoots and the usual Rambo gadgets. We're going "live" bouncing a signal off Trader Jacks roof on to the Moon and back to deliver video to the world .... nah we're not ... just kidding, but we are doing the days highlights at the end of each day and i've hocked the house on an awesome new main camera (don't tell Mrs Rambo)

Support the sponsors that make it all possible.

See ya there.

Team Hawaii

Now that the 2009 Hawaiki Nui Va'a is over, I was wondering about the makeup of Team Hawaii. Does anyone know the rationale behind taking eight paddlers to Tahiti (vs. 12, 13, or 14)? Although the final day's results have yet to be posted, it appears that Team Hawaii's finishes declined each day. The first day they did well, but then they started to slide back into the pack. From a distant observation, this would perhaps indicate fatigue but there might have been other factors as well. It seems like a strategic oversight to not paddle with a fresh crew each day (e.g.
