How big are paddlers really? -- Shirts sizes: Why so many XL and never S or M

Why is it that for every paddling event (Men and Wahine) here in Hawaii there are never enough Small and Medium shirts distributed to paddlers or available for purchase, and tons of XL, XXL, 3XL left over at the end of the day? Who is consistently doing such a poor job in ordering sizes? The designs are great and I would love to promote your event, but I am not going to run around town in a shirt 3 sizes too big (and definitely not going to pay money for it).

Just posted a Stingray 2 to classifieds.

Sorry to intrude, check it out.

Looking for Seat for Molokai Hoe

Aloha -

I am a strong 55 year old looking for a seat for my first Molokai crossing. I have been racing for 4+ years, including 4 Catalina crossings. I am looking to paddle in any division with the possible exception of Open. I can sit any seat and, although I have steered about half my races, would expect any steering role to be secondary. I have a positive attitude which helps me work effectively with unfamiliar crews.

Please reply by email (abeutler@cox.net) or call me at 602-317-3234 if you think you can use me on your crew.
