Notto and Clarkies Spring Break!

http://inlandoutriggers.blogspot.com/2009/10/if-today-was-your-last-day-...

Notto and I would like to share a magic little run we did last month on Port Phillip Bay from Mentone to Frankston. 30knot Northerly, we used 5 Hero3 Go Pro's and AVS4You Software to make the movie.

Who are you racing for?

I racing for my family, friends and loved ones. I racing for the children and adults with disease and handicaps. I racing for all the people starving and suffering, especially the children, in the world. I racing for the homeless who not because of being lazy or drugs just cannot afford to live in a home. I racing for those who are no longer with us (unfortunately too many to name). I racing for the child who's parents don't give a shit about them. I racing for the person who feels like an outcast and that they have nobody. I racing for whoever doesn't feel loved.

I coach and paddle for the LA Racing Dragons, a dragon boat team out of Long Beach, CA. Many of our paddlers, including myself, also paddle oc1 and oc6.

Here's a video I think most of you will enjoy of the Comp A Mixed Finals in San Francisco this past weekend.

Our caller and steersman were outfitted with headcams.

Mother has left lasting impression on kayaker

Read this story in the Honolulu Advertiser today. Great story and great to see that our youth are getting some ink in the paper. We need more of these and more people like the Dolans and Kamu who are mentoring the young generation. Good luck Kalei!!

Yvonne Kahookele knew her son would always be OK.

Motivated, extremely humble and driven, Kalei Kahookele is a kayaker for Mid-Pacific whose strokes in the water look effortless and whose strength is found in the woman he considers the strongest person he knows.
