The Inaugural Kahala Challenge race was this past Saturday in Kailua- 800 meter swim, 5k run, and a 4 mile OC-1/ OR 2 mile Paddleboard or SUP.

Kalihi Kai Fundraiser Tournament

There has been much banter over time about all the "latest rage" canoes. The Hurricane has gone through very little change since its inception. Is this because the design was ahead of its time? Is there any plan for a "new" Hurricane(probably would be called something else) that anyone has heard of? Why is the Hurricane still so popular with little or no changes to its original design? Just a few thoughts for discussion on a slow Monday at work!

Ok, well i really like surfing and well who doesnt. I've been trying to look for some pretty fun and SAFE surfspots to just cruise my fuze. I've gotten out to flat island, ehh its alrite. I've surfed bowls at magic island and a few spots around waikiki, a little sketchy sometimes on a low tide. The mokes look really fun, i'd like to try it in the channel on a good sized day. I've also seen some videos of guys surfing someplace in kaneohe? If anybody knows about it, i'd like to try and check it out. Just wanted some input here.
