Where to stay for Solo?

Having a hard time finding a place to stay for the Solo... Does anybody have any suggestions?

IHE Paddles

Howzit everyone, IHE Paddles is stoked to announce that local mass production of a full line of wood paddles. We will be offering the Kikaha, a Tahitian influenced shape thats the round tear drop with a tuned power face. We will also be offering the original IHE spear shape that is tuned for 6 man. Both blades wiil be offered at 9&5/8"s, 10" and 101/2" inch. Both will be offered with a version of the double bend and straight shafts. In my opinion the most comfortable shaft shape available, and offered in 4 diameter sizes. The paddlles will be 11 degrees. Stand Ups and steering paddles are also in the works. Prices start at $169 to $295. Group orders will be discounted depending on order size, starting at 5 minimum.

Raffle tickets for a new Kai Wa'a canoe - Fundraiser for the Dolan brothers

Kai Waa is raffling a Hawaii made Pegasus or Scorpius (Your choice if you win) to help raise money for Pat and Ryan Dolan as they pursue their dreams of representing USA/Hawaii in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.

Pat and Ryan are Hawaii born paddlers who paddle for Lanikai Canoe Club on Oahu.

Each ticket is $5 and may be purchased at the following locations/times:

The cut-off date for purchasing tickets is Wednesday 4/29. The winner will be announced on www.kaiwaa.com the week following the Kaiwi channel relay.

Kauai World Challenge

The website shows that the dealine for entry is today April 5th. That deadline is ONLY for online entries. You can still register Friday from 4-6pm at Lydgate Pavillion where the prerace meeting and dinner will be held. I'm coming to Maui, I need to hook up and paddle with an OC crew and I'd like to take an OC1 out in the mornings

Hello Everyone:

I'm part of a dragon boat racing and OC club here in Portland, OR. I'll be in Maui the 14th - 19th and would like to practice with an OC crew while I'm there and also have access to an OC1 to paddle in the mornings.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'll be staying at the Westin in Kaanapali.

Anyone shipping OC1 from Kauai for Maui to Molokai race

Need to ship my canoe from Kauai to Maui after the World Callenge checking if anyone else is going. YB said flatrack can hold 5 boats and cost approx 300.00.Shipping will take one week to get there.
