Conquering the Ka'iwi Channel - Moloka'i Solo 2005

You sit on the starting line off of Kaluakoi trying to calm your mind down and prepare for the start. You have prepared all year for this day and as you sit on the line trying to make out the faint outline of Koko Head in the distance, you attempt to imagine what the next five hours has in store for you.

Maui Maliko Hana Hou Race Results – April 16

As you can see from the results, we had an awesome run on Sat. The waves were not as big as during our first Maliko, instead they were easier to catch and ride and connect, they were cleaner. Those must have been some of the longest rides we’ve been on – what a blast. Mahalo to our Maui paddlers and those visiting for a fair start. To line-up outside in the deep blue and to be fairly in line is a great accomplishment.

New videos

Keola Wright sent in a couple great paddling clips. Check it out in the video section. Also if you haven't seen the Sunshine clip posted last month, that's in there as well. Look forward to more video coming this summer.
