We are a group of wahine who would like to paddle the Pailolo Challenge. Unfortunately, our club is using all of our racing canoes for the Henry Ayau men's race on Sept 19th. Are there any Maui clubs who would like for us to paddle their canoe to Molokai so you can have it there for Na Wahine the next weekend? It'll save you guys some $$$ on shipping costs. We are experienced distance paddlers so your equipment will be in good hands. Please email me at JessicaGraham1@mac.com
i just sent in my zephyr to outrigger connections for repair. and the total cost; 450 for 4 cracks. i was wondering if there was a cheaper place to get canoe repairs done?
Have a number of photos of Saturday's States as well as the past OHCRA sprint season. Ropati will pick some of these for Pacific Paddler. I get a few requests for copies so for any of you guys that are interested, you can check'em out on my photo sharing site (pekelo.smugmug.com) and order prints if you want any of them. Aloha, Pete.
