OC1 Race

For all the paddlers out there, i have a quick question. If Kanaka Ikaika held a race on a sunday like Feb 8th, would you race in a fundraiser race for Punana Leo o Kawaiaha'o on Sat. Feb 7th? Last year was fun with good food and unreal prizes. Not sure if we can get enough participants this year, since Kanaka Ikaika is having a race on the next day. Don't ask why we just don't move our date. All the dates are already taken, and i originally had an open date that was not taken at that time.

Mahalo for your mana'o

Now that's crazy!

In case you guys had not seen these videos I thought I'd share it with you all.

Here is another one:

Those Aussies are crazy man!!!

OC 1 Design - Technique - Expert Knowledge

Hi all,

I'd like to invite you to share your own personal thoughts/advice on correct paddling technique - catch-power phase-release and recovery.
While much of this can be found all over the threads here on the web, it would be nice to collect what you all think in one place.

Have a look if you are interested.

Let's see how it goes. No need to have a big reputation as a coach, imo, it is just entertainment.

Rio Va'a 2008

i just got back from Brazil and want to send big Mahalo Nui to Kamehameha Canoe Club's Head Coach Rozalyn Dias for letting me be part of her crew, she brought one Open and one Mix crew, and i had such a great time, their Aloha and the way they feel paddling is awesome, really an honor for me to be part of their crew.
also want to say mahalo nui to Celso Filleti From Santos for leeting me use one of his Oc-1.
and congratulations to Raphael Tuki ( Rapa Nui) and his 2 crews for such a great turn out. Rapa Nui A won this race like it was a walk in the park, and their second crew, filled with 16 year old boyz were 4th over all....outstanding!!!!

Mele Kalikimaka a me Hau'oli Makahiki Hou!
and Aloha form Argentina!
