Reg is from 0730-0900 but what time does the race start?

Wow-what's up w/ that, Keizo? A little Goto bashing and bam! Lock down! But you let us go ahead and bash on Fuze's religious/political views for days! That was fun BTW, Mahalo. Anyways, I guess I'll have to do my Goto bashing in person, as usual (heavy sigh)...

This Saturday, Nov 22 There wil be a race held in Hilo....

it will be a triathlon type race including a 1/2 mile swim a 2.3 mile run, and a 4.2 mile paddle (one-man, SUP, Surfski, PaddleBoard..)

You may enter a 3 person relay team, or do it solo.

the race will start at Richardsons beach park, then run to Puhi bay, then paddle to & finish at Hilo Bayfront.

Awards ceremony and lunch will follow

Cost of team is $75
and solo is $50

All of the proceeds will be donated for the medical treatment of our dear friend, canoe builder, Papu Williams.

Recently in my area we had an OC1/ OC2/Surfski/paddleboard/SUP race. The race fee for
each person was $25 and included lunch, awards that cost probably a buck, and a t-shirt for
only the first 100 entrants. There were three safety/escort boats on the course.
I'm guessing there were over 200 entries. I know there are permit/ insurance costs.
Is this a fair amount to charge each paddler for a race fee?
