This clinic is dedicated for those that want summer to continue. Multiple instructors will be on hand so this clinic is suitable for all range of paddler levels, female or male. We’ll do technique analysis and head out for some wave riding fun at various locations around the island including paddling down the Napali if water conditions allow. We’ll talk about training methodologies, winter training, and provide lots of tips for improving your solo paddling.

I love my canoe but don't love the footwell drains in the sidewalls of the footwell. Real weak point in the construction of the canoe IMO. One of mine has turned into a leaker. At the shop now and hoping for a good outcome that will be durable. I get that the sidewall drains are there to reduce drag. But what's worse than a half gallon of water sloshing around INSIDE your hull. I'll take the drag of a regular Venturi drain all day over that. Anyway, been thinking about retrofitting a bailer like I have in my EPIC ski. Anyone done that?

I enjoyed reading through "The Catch" forum created last year, learned some new tricks posted in the comments by some elite paddlers on this site...so that inspired me to ask about the technique used at the end of the stroke, which seems to be almost as important as the initial entry/catch...

What are the predication on this race? E Lau Hoe had Waikiki Beach Boys 2 minutes ahead of Bradley. Were both crews at full force? Are any australia crews coming?
