Photos from Molokai 06

This year was my first Molokai race and I ordered some photos from rebelshots.com. I was charged for them a couple of months ago and never received anything. E-mailed twice to complain and never got an answer.
Anybody else have the same problem?

Hi Guy's, with all these video clips lately, thought i'd throw up one of mine. It's a 4 min highlite of a rough water time trial shot form the deck of my Hurricane. Turn up the volume.

sweet video of danny ching

I lied a little, but now that you're here...

I have been thinking for sometime of allowing each person on the site to be able to post to a personal section of their own. I would like to set this 'weblog' feature up on a trial basis before I make available to all users -- one thing I don't want it to do is take away posting to the forum. I think it would be more useful for something like a training log, pictures, videos, or personal accounts from your day of paddling that you might feel weird posting here, but still would like to share. If that makes any sense. For anyone interested in this, please email me keizo@ocpaddler.com ... I will work on this next week. Or if you have any thoughts on this, I would like to hear them.

I only lied a little, there is a tiny clip of Danny Ching, see here or click on my name. The page is a sample web log.

Cold Weather Gear

Aloha Gang,
Is there anyone out there with any experience with drysuits? Paddling with a surfing wetsuit sounds too restrictive.I saw a hybrid model from O'neil with a dry top/wetsuit legs combination-has anyone tried this one? How 'bout gloves/boots? Some brand specific info would be super! There's some decent coldashell downwind runs here in Seattle occasionally, but I really need to gear up to enjoy it.Mahalo, Jim.

oceanside race...

was a good race...anyone have a link to the results...i've been checking the eteamz website for them but theyre not up yet...

Levasseur Paddles

Information and pics of these super light , strong paddles from Michele Levasseur in Quebec will be posted later today.
7 to 8 ounces each. Race proven by North Americas top marathon and outrigger paddlers. Not quite as stiff as most typical carbon paddles, these have a very slight flex to them that doesn`t seem to affect performance in a negative way. Also, the power face is slightly concave, hopefully the pics will clearly show this.
If you like the feel and weight of carbon paddle but also require a little flex , these paddles are worth a look.

New double bend all graphite blades

Aloha from Maui,

There is a new double bend all graphite blade out there that has generated a bit of interest here on Maui. It is carried by a local paddling shop. Has anybody used this new blade? What brand is it? If it has been used what is the feedback?

Thanks for your time

Is there any results to be found about the WBB race on O'ahu this past weekend?

Trying to take advantage of some real cheap airfares from CA to HI this year....does anyone know when the Kauai world cup dates are? And/or the Starbucks Maui-Molokai race?
