OC-1 for Queen Lili"uokalani 2007

My team from Canada has just booked accomodation for the upcoming Queen Lili'uokalani race Sept. 1st 2007. We can't wait to experience warm Hawaiian waters and true Hawaiian culture!

If possible,I also want to race the OC-1 on the next day. Does anyone know how, or who to talk to about hiring an OC-1 for this race?

Thanks for your reply, mangisepik

What's the best one man?

I don't know if this has been asked before...but what is the best one man?
Thanks!

Old debate - finally settled...

Hurricanes are the best canoes ever. Period. If you own one, you are cool - if you paddle it frequently, you are even cooler. They are the nicest colors, and have the awesomest rudders. When my buns sit in the seat they feel as if they are being massaged by twelve beautiful women. It goes REALLY fast in the flats. In fact, I was out in some flats the other day, and halfway through practice I realized I had forgotten my paddle. But I was still kicking everyone else's asses. Imagine if I had REMEMBERED my paddle! It is also super-spectacular in the surf. I was out on the lake the other day in like 8-14 foot waves (ground swells from a storm in the northern Atlantic) and I caught EVERY wave out there... I didn't even miss one. I know many of you will say that "it's the motor, not the boat". Well you people are retards. OC-1s don't even have motors. Go join the crew team or something like that, where they DO have motors. Okay, that's it. If you are looking for a new boat, get a Hurricane. I think it's obvious that it will rock your socks. Hope this helps!

Lovingly, A to tha motha-F'n G!

PS - for those of you who think it matters, I weigh 427 oz., I am 7.3 metres tall, and my favorite food is Twizzlers. I mostly paddle in Lake Washington, but have been known to frequent the waters of Lake Sammamish when I am especially drunk (and naked!)

PPS - when I said "buns", I meant "ass".

Canoe Trailer

Anyone got any info any makers (or people who are capable of making) 6 man canoe trailers? I'm looking for a trailer that can hold 3 six mans. I've heard some good things about all aluminum trailers; lightweight, strong, cheaper. Looking for any input. Mahalos.
